Call to Action!

There is a scheduled protest against the proposed landfill this coming Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 8:45 – 11:15 a.m. at the Cumberland County District Court, 1 Courthouse Cir, Cumberland, VA 23040, USA.

AMMD Pine Grove Project is organizing this project and requests your participation. Please bring water and chairs.

Hope everyone is doing okay in all of this heat – it has been a scorcher of a week with no real relief in sight. Please be careful and don’t chances in this heat, it has a way of sneaking up on you.

Brief post to keep you updated.

1. As of this writing, we have no updates to share on the proposed landfill. The expiration date of CUP 18-06 is very near, like this weekend.

2. As of this writing, we have no updates to share on the court filing.

3. We urge you to continue to write letters to the editor of papers, federal, state, and local officials. Keep our concerns with the proposed landfill in front of them.

4. Be assured, as we learn any information, we will keep you informed.

Your help is needed to assist with getting the word out to others. One way of doing this is by putting signs in your yard.
